Storage

Persistent data is not just stored on the server, it can be stored in Cookies and browser storage like Session Storage and Local Storage.

All of these storage mechanisms are visible in the Browser developer tools in the Application / Storage section.

Cookies can be used to store data and transfer data to the server.

Local Storage can be used to store data which is persisted between browser sessions.

Session Storage can be used to store data which is deleted when the tab or browser is closed.
